Privacy Policy
FitDare ("we", "us") is operated by CherryPick Australia Pty Ltd. This policy explains what we collect when you use the FitDare app and fitdare.app, and why.
What we collect
- Account: your email address (or Apple / Google sign-in identifier), the name you choose, and your time zone.
- Dares: dares you create or join, goals, stakes, results and settlement status.
- Workout photos: photos you take as proof, with workout type, caption and time taken. Photos are only visible to members of the dares you post them to.
- Reactions, reports and blocks you make in the app.
- Notifications: a push token and your notification preferences.
- Purchases: subscription and purchase status from Apple / Google via RevenueCat. We never see your payment card details.
- Usage analytics: which features you use (for example: dare created, workout logged, invite shared, paywall viewed), app version, device model and approximate country derived from your IP address. Linked to your account ID, never to your photos.
- Waitlist: if you joined our waitlist — email, country, phone platform and who you'd dare.
How we use it
- To run the app: dares, weekly results, slips, reminders and notifications.
- To provide Premium features you paid for.
- To keep the community safe (reports, blocking, abuse prevention).
- To understand how FitDare is used and improve it (product analytics).
- To email you sign-in codes and, if you joined the waitlist, your invite.
We do not sell your personal data, we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not use your photos for advertising or to train AI models.
Who processes it
- Supabase (database, authentication, file storage; hosted in Sydney, Australia).
- Cloudflare (website hosting).
- Resend (email delivery).
- Expo (push notification delivery).
- PostHog (product analytics; hosted in the EU).
- RevenueCat, Apple and Google (purchases).
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account; this removes your profile, the dares you own and your photos. You can also email us to request a copy or deletion of your data.
Children
FitDare is not intended for children under 13.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change and update the date above.
